Let’s think back to the Antoinette Portis story Not A Box! That story inspired us to see the same thing in many different ways. So far we have followed the book’s plot by imagining our focus on literacy to be a box we could drive. We got into our Not a Box car and drove up Literacy Mountain. Let’s continue using the story as our guide. Take a deep breath. We are about to see our literacy box from the perspective of a firefighter!
